Mike Sloan - 2016-17 Director of Player Development - All Levels

Mike is entering his 3rd season as an Assitant Coach at Pike High School.  Prior to his time at Pike, Coach Sloan served 4 years as an Assistant Coach at North Central High School. He took his passion as a player at Ritter High School and Grand Valley State and immediately began coaching Little League and Travel baseball before moving to high school.  Coach Sloan has over a decade of experience at developing young men and baseball players! 

Tom Green - 2016-17 Member Hitting Coach, Head Coach - All Levels

Coach Green was born and raised in Carmel, IN playing CYO and AAU (Pony Express / USA Athletics / Bulls).  He attended Brebeuf Jesuit HS where his class won 4 consecutive sectional titles, 1 regional, and a semi-state appearance.  Coach Green was nominated for all county his junior and senior years.  He continued his playing career at Ball State, Wabash Valley JC, and 3 years at Marian University.  He continues to play men’s league (25 and under) because of his love of the game and passion for competition. 

Coach Green began coaching at Round Tripper Academy during his college summers specializing in speed, agility, hitting, OF coaching, and pitching.  He has been mentored by many great coaches in the Indy area including Coach Satterthwaite. His passion for coaching can best be described as, “when I see a young athlete succeed and witness the confidence in their playing ability, it reminds me why I do this, for the kids, the game, and the hope that they too one day will enjoy and pass along this gift.”

Scott Satterthwaite - 2016-17 Member Hitting Coach - All Levels

Scott has been actively involved in the game of baseball for over 30 years as a player, coach, professional instructor/evaluator and development consultant. An alumnus of Scecina Memorial High School, Scott was an All-City selection and a City-County All Star in 1991. He received an athletic scholarship to play ball at Division II and GLVC powerhouse St. Joseph's College. Coach Satterthwaite enters his fifth season for the Knights Baseball program at Marian University. Under his tutelage as hitting coach, the team’s offensive statistics climbed near the top of the conference in each and every season- .293 AVG, .379 SLG%, and .379 OB%. As a professional instructor, Coach Satterthwaite has worked diligently to enhance the skillsets of hundreds of youth, high school and collegiate level ballplayers. After receiving his MPA from Indiana University in 2008, Coach Satterthwaite served as a development consultant for Major League Baseball’s Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) Program. His fund development endeavors helped countless financially strapped youth baseball and softball programs locate needed resources to efficiently and effectively operate for years to come. In 2012, “Coach Satt” transitioned careers and became a licensed social studies teacher after completing the Master’s Bridge/Transition to Teaching Program at Marian University.  He is currently in the process of completing a Building Level Administration program at Oakland City University. The Satterthwaite family- Libby, Oscar “Ozzie” and Gavaghan- resides on the near northeast side of Indianapolis.

Scott King - 2015-17 - Player Evaluation - All Levels

Coach Scott King is in his 10th year coaching at North Central High School.  During his time he has served as Varsity Assistant, Jr Varsity Assistant, Freshman Assistant, JV Head Coach, Freshman Head Coach and is also presently serving in the capacity of Director of Baseball Operations.  Coach King is a retired Captain of the U.S. Army.  He is married to the lovely and former Cristal Marie Kerns (20 years in June 2015). Together they have four cats named Olivia Von Taffy-Tails, Shadow, Ninja and Rikki. 

Coach King is a life-long fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and classifies all MLB players as his favorite player.  After all, they made it to “The Bigs.”  Coach grew up in the game.  His dad was a long time college and minor league baseball umpire.  His grandfather started and grew little league baseball in Princeton, IN and his uncles coached the game from little league to college levels.  Coach King also loves distance running, paddle surfing and snorkeling.

Phillip Webb - 2015-17 Member Pitching/Catching Coach - All Levels

Philip Webb has accumulated over 6 years of coaching experience at the teenage, high school and summer elite travel program levels. Webb joined the North Central High School baseball coaching staff in 2010 and quickly became one of the Indianapolis area’s top pitching and catching instructors.  The spring of 2016 will be Webb’s sixth season as assistant varsity coach at North Central High School.

Webb made an immediate impact during his first two seasons with North Central High School, directing the team pitching era to around 2.0. Over the past six years he has sent multiple pitchers and catchers to the collegiate level, ranging from NCAA Division 1 to NCCA Division 3. He gave these players instruction on a wide range of fundamentals and mechanics, but more importantly, he stressed leadership development in his pitchers and catchers. Notable players he has coached include Mac Lozer (University of Michigan), Demetrius Webb (Indiana University), Jensen Kirch (Wabash University), Justin Short (St. Joseph’s College), Joe Trennepohl (University of Indianapolis), Alex Lantz (Hanover College), and Josh Wooten (University of Cincinnati).

Outside of baseball Webb attends IUPUI in efforts to become a future educator. Along with being enrolled in school he also works for RFS janitorial supplies. His younger brother is currently playing for Indiana University’s baseball team as catcher. Webb’s hobbies consist of spending time with family and friends, watching sporting events, and playing basketball.

Chad Cunningham - 2015-18  Head Coach

Chad Cunningham is the father of four great kids, Lucy, Betsy, Charlie and Daisy and enjoys fishing and watching baseball. Chad began coaching baseball at the age of 19 when he helped coach a Roncalli team to the Babe Ruth state finals. At the age of 23 Chad joined the IUPUI staff as an assistant coach and in a few years was promoted to head coach. In his first year as the head coach, IUPUI advanced to the top 16 teams in the nation. Chad has worked, as a scout, for the Phillies and the Cubs. and currently is an assistant coach at North Central High School. Chad's favorite MLB team is the Chicago Cubs. However, he is known to enjoy watching any team that is playing hard.  

Kevin Keene -  2015-17 - Team Assistant Coach 

Kevin Keene comes to us from the Wolves of Boone Grove Highschool. As a baseball player, Coach Keene primarily played outfield and 1st base for the schools Baseball team, sprinted and long jumped in Track and Field, and played front row in Volleyball. He is an Alumni of the UIndy Greyhounds where he competed as a Division II Decathlete on the schools Track and Field program. 
Kevin started out with Sadhana in the summer of 2015 as Assistant Coach of our 
13u Flames boys baseball team. He continues to coach now as the Head Coach for the 14U Flames.  In addition to baseball, he is excited to be joining our Strength 
and Speed coaching staff as well.
His coaching career started as an assistant coach under his former UIndy 
Head Coach after graduating in 2013. Over the last few years this coaching position has allowed Coach Keene to work with elite track and field coaches and athletes from around the state and through USA Track and Field. He continues to coach at UIndy working with jumpers, hurdlers, and multi-event athletes. 
Outside of Baseball and Track and field Kevin enjoys playing in Ultimate Frisbee and Volleyball leagues, cruising around town on his old motorcycle, and watching sports with his friends. He's a big fan of the Chicago Blackhawks and Bears and also roots for the White Sox and Bulls. Kevin moved to Indianapolis from Northwest Indiana in 2007.


Player Smith Sean

Sean Smith -  2015-17   - Member Pitching Coach 

 Sean was a relief pitcher through his baseball career at Michigan City High School and spent some time at second base. A 2013 alumni from the University of Indianapolis, Sean opted out of playing baseball at the University of Indianapolis and instead focused on his track & field career at the Division II level. He was nominated for the Angus Nicoson "Something Extra" Award while at the University of Indianapolis and obtained Academic All Conference Honors. This will be Sean's second year in a coaching role, after serving as an 14U Assistant Coach last season.

Outside of coaching, Sean enjoys going on long runs and bike rides throughout the summer. Also Sean enjoys traveling throughout the nation and seeing new places. He enjoys going to major music festivals, his favorite band is the Red Hot Chili Peppers. His favorite baseball team is the Chicago White Sox and Sean enjoys watching Notre Dame football in the fall.
