Denise Kerr  Denise Kerr - Mindful Flexibility Instructor

 

Denise first certified as a Yoga Exercise Specialist (YES) through East to West Yoga in Toronto Ontario in 2010, and re-certified in 2013 after completing an 80-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Heather T. Leo Yoga.  Her 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200) certification was completed in December 2015.  

She has a varied history in fitness, having achieved her 1st Dan in Shotokan Karate in 1994, and completing her certification as a personal trainer and fitness instructor through the YMCA in 1997.  Formerly an avid runner and cyclist, she competed in several duathlons after she turned 45.  Her knowledge and experience in this area lends itself well to teaching athletes.  

She is a certified behavioural management coach, has formal training in Sports Psychology and practices many of her own techniques as she strives to be her “best self”.  Her primary motivation in sharing her spirit is to invite to practice those who, because of a lack of understanding, poor body image or unconditioned fitness levels would never otherwise feel comfortable trying to change habits.

 

Stacey Davis

Stacey is certified through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. As a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach she is trained in over 100 dietary theories, and has been instructed by world-renowned experts like Dr. Deepak Chopra, David Wolfe, and Dr. Andrew Weil. 

Stacey’s approach is not to dwell on calories, carbs, fats, and proteins. It is not to create lists of restrictions or good and bad foods. Instead, she works with clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and rewarding. No one diet is right for everyone. She helps find what works to help clients reach their optimum health.

As an endurance athlete she has completed several 100 mile bike events, triathlons and her biggest passion is ultra marathons; running 50+ mile races in the woods. Being very in tuned with her own body she uses her experience to educate athletes on finding their own healthy zone with any physical activity. Stacey wants to see everyone be active and healthy on all levels and often hosts free couch to 5k training groups.
